Kate brings more than a decade of experience structuring, originating, and closing SBA loans, with a strong track record of helping business owners access capital for acquisitions, real estate, expansion, and refinancing.

Prior to joining CalPrivate Bank, Kate spent over 14 years at JPMorgan Chase, where she held senior roles including Senior SBA Solutions Consultant and Executive Director. In these positions, she partnered closely with Business Relationship Managers to identify opportunities, structure complex SBA transactions, and guide deals from application through funding. She was also instrumental in training and developing bankers, driving market growth, and building strong referral networks.

Earlier in her career, Kate held SBA and commercial banking roles at Wells Fargo and Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. She also owned and operated her own small business—giving her a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face.

Kate holds an MBA from California State University, Bakersfield and a BA in Finance from Michigan State University. She is actively involved in her community and has held multiple leadership roles within Rotary.
